Our Family Group Conference Coordinator training course is now CPD Accredited
Following the recent CPD accreditation of our Family Network Meeting Facilitator course, we're pleased to share that our flagship Family Group Conference Coordinator (for Children and Families) course has also achieved CPD accreditation. The course has been updated and strengthened over the past few months, in response to practitioner feedback and the latest government reforms that call for greater access to Family Group Decision Making within Children's Social Care.

Over the past year, we have continued to develop both our approach to Family Network Meetings and our Facilitator training course, in support of the wider family group decision making reforms. We are delighted to share that we have received overwhelmingly positive feedback from training participants, and that our Family Network Meeting Facilitator Course is now CPD accredited.
Introducing Our New Course: Mediation Skills in Family Group Decision Making
Practitioners need the skills to navigate situations with care, compassion and confidence, while remaining aware of risks and safety. In direct response to workforce feedback, we have developed a new course, Mediation Skills in Family Group Decision Making. Now available for group and individual bookings.
Welcoming national guidance on Family Group Decision Making practice
At Daybreak, we welcome the release of the Department for Education’s Family Group Decision Making Best Practice Support and Resources guidance developed by Mutual Ventures. As a charity that has delivered Family Group Conferences and other Family Group Decision Making approaches for over 25 years, we recognise the significance for families and the wider children’s services system in establishing a nationwide set of expectations on this topic.

Using Family Group Conferencing within Adult Safeguarding
