Our Family Group Conference Coordinator training course is now CPD Accredited

Following the recent CPD accreditation of our Family Network Meeting Facilitator course, we're pleased to share that our flagship Family Group Conference Coordinator (for Children and Families) course has also achieved CPD accreditation.

The course has been updated and strengthened over the past few months, in response to practitioner feedback and the latest government reforms that call for greater access to Family Group Decision Making within Children's Social Care.

You can keep up to date about how we're responding to these changes on our news page.

We are seeing an continued increase in demand for both courses, with our Training teams supporting practitioners in every Local Authority region. Our Training service is an integral part of us delivering on our vision to ensure that children, young people, families and their communities can access best-practice Family Group Decision Making.

We are delighted that 100% of our Family Group Conference Coordinator course attendees would recommend Daybreak’s training, with comments such as below:

  • “Thank you for such an excellent training experience. I now have a much better understanding of the Family Group Conference Coordinator role and want to further develop my skills in this area”

  • “I can’t thank Alison enough - lovely training. Very engaging and approachable, with a wealth of knowledge.”

  • “I feel excited and confident to take the learning forward in my job role”

  • “Michaela is so passionate that it really made the cohort excited to start practicing.”

CPD accreditation gives both course participants and organisations booking our training the reassurance that it has been independently assessed by a recognised third party, The CPD Certification Service.

This means that the course offers:

  • Content and learning that meets internationally recognised standards

  • The opportunity for participants to claim CPD hours

  • Educational, information-led, and value-added learning

  • Clear learning objectives and outcomes from the outset

  • A positive and inclusive learning experience delivered through a structured and logical approach

  • Examples, case studies, facts, and statistics to contextualise learning

  • Opportunities to apply and embed learning through practice, discussion, and quizzes

  • The ability to provide open and honest feedback, helping us to continually improve and learn from participants
