Programme Manager - Portsmouth

We are looking for a new Programme Manager to join our team to oversee our Family Group Conference service and support our community outreach throughout Portsmouth, Hampshire.

We are keen to meet with passionate operational managers, skilled at leading a remote team, with versatile communication skills, and a progressive, forward-thinking perspective on social care services - together with a dedication to high-quality work for families and young people, every time.

Whilst the role is home-based, a successful candidate would need to actively work in person with commissioners, external partners, and communities in and around Portsmouth on a regular basis, depending on service needs. Willingness to travel to other areas, depending on service need and growth is needed.

We are a leading charity in the UK offering Family Group Conferences (FGC) at an exciting point in our history where we are exploring and actively building new and innovative ways to work alongside families and the community. This is within the backdrop of Government-led changes in the delivery of Family Group Decision Making as a whole (of which FGCs are an example of), and we are working alongside key partners to help broaden and diversify restorative, family-led support. If you are keen to get creative and explore new opportunities alongside managing and leading an excellent core service, we would love to hear from you.

Experience in delivering Family Group Conferences is preferred, but is not essential for this role. However, a demonstratable awareness of the current challenges that families and young people are facing is essential - alongside knowledge of solution-focused and strength-based practices.
