Train the Trainer & Licensing Programme - Family Network Meeting Facilitator
The Families First Partnership Programme and the Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Bill require Local Authorities to significantly broaden their offer of Family Group Decision Making enabling families to access support much earlier in their involvement with Children’s Social Care.
This change creates a demand for increased delivery capacity. In response, many Local Authorities are expanding the use of Family Network Meetings through upskilling existing practitioners, while continuing to deliver more high-risk work via Family Group Conference services, either in-house or through third-party providers.
In response to this, we offer a Train the Trainer and Licensing Programme -Family Network Meeting Facilitator, designed to build both immediate capacity and long-term sustainability.
The programme includes:
Core Family Network Meeting training for practitioners, to equip the workforce with the skills needed to deliver the Daybreak’s Family Network Meeting model
Train the Trainer development for selected practitioners, enabling them to deliver Daybreak’s Family Network Meeting training internally
Annual licensing, giving organisations access to our training materials and resources within agreed parameters
This approach enables Local Authorities to:
Build a trained workforce, ready to meet immediate service demand
Develop a quality-assured internal pool of trainers, able to deliver ongoing training
Access course materials aligned to national guidance and best practice
Achieve long-term training capacity and sustainability for Family Network Meetings
