By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • See children and families through a trauma-informed lens

  • Understand how trauma impacts on day-to-day behaviours

  • Respond effectively to trauma when working with both children and adults

  • Apply skills to help people reflect, understand impact and manage behaviour

Led by an experienced Social Worker and Trauma Informed Practitioner, this course offers impactful professional development that can be applied throughout your work.

Course content will include personal reflections, case examples, and interactive breakout room discussions. These elements are designed to help participants delve into the root causes of human behaviours, identify signs and symptoms of trauma, and explore practical ways to support children and adults in their work.
