Mother

Our team recently worked with a mother, whose children were referred to us to help establish support in regard to Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder or EUPD.

The mother found making risk assessments for her children’s safety challenging.

We worked with the mother to engage her wider support network, giving them the opportunity to communicate, work together, and create plans.

This allowed the family to determine what actions were most suitable, sustainable, and safe for them.

As a result, the family now:

  • are more informed

  • understand the experiences of all involved

  • have a clear plan to keep the children safe

  • provide practical support with day-to-day activities

  • provide regular emotional support for the mother

Their social worker commented that they were able to “bring together hearts and minds” to enable them to move forward, be safe, and thrive.
